16. Aasbay Toome (Thou will Arrive)

Sayee Osomo Kaalay Karoono Doordeenay
Aasbay Toomee Naybay Cheenay
Joto DhormoNash-er Glaanee
Jaanee, Jaanee Probhoo Soonee
Tomaar Sayeejay Abhoy Baanee..
(In such days and times of disequilibrium and disorder, You will arrive: I believe, Lord,  that the signs of wearing out of the system through destruction of order and unsustainable imbalance of properties/ attributes, will come to your notice. Your message of assuurance will ring in my ears.)
Jobay Bolobaaanayer Ohong-Kaaray
Sot Knaypaychay Baaray Baaray
Tokhon Somoya Hobay
Maanob-Lokay Tomaaye Aanbay Taanee
Jaanee, Jaanee Probhoo Jaanee.
(When oppresive and unjust behaviour of the powerful repeatedly repress the honesty and fainess,  I  believe, time comes to attract You to emerge as the One Saviour Force in the midst of human society.)
Neeteer Baandhon charay Jabay
Samaaj Heengsa-bhoraa
Naayer Bichaar HaaraayA
Klaanto Basoondhoraa.
(With thoughts and actions completely bereft of principles of stabilty, the society is filled with violence, delivery of justice is lost, the Earthly habitat runs out of steam).
Amon Somoye Jugay Jugay
Saandhoo-Jonay Baachhaao Sookhay,
Beenash Koro Doojonayray
Dharmo Je Poono Aanee.
Jaanee, Jaanee Probhoo Jaanee.
(During such periods in different eras, I believe thatYou are pleased to appear as the Force to rescue the honest, to destroy the evil miscreants and re-establish the equilibrium, order and balance of attributes and properties.)
[This song is based on an oft-quoted verse couplet from ShreeMadBagwat Geeta quting Lord Krishna saying" Yada yada He Dharmasyo GlaanerBhavoti Bharata, obhyuthanamadharmasyo Tadatmannog Sreejaamahom. Paritranayo Sadhunaam Binashaye cha Dushkritaam, Dharmo Sanhstaponarthoyo Sambhovaamee Yugay Yugay: meaning -" I create myself as human being during those periods when dharmyo (not religion) weakens and adharmyo spreads. To protect the honest, eradicate the evil miscreants and establish Dharmyo, I emerge in different eras."
The prayer has been composed following the lyrics and tune of Tagore Song "Aajee Bijon Ghorer Nishito Ratee Aasbay Jodi.." ]
