(Tune in as in Tagore song ‘Daanraao Aamaar Aakheeroe Aaagay’)

English Translation:

I lose myself amidst all, merging with the entire creation and immersed in all activities.
Addictive love flows to blur all internal external divide
The Self seeks liberation in the tunes of a mystical flute.
Pride that drove me all along wanes to vanish,

Untying the bond of all desires, the Self loses it identity.
With mind and consciousness, free of all attachment
And all distinctions of pleasure and pain,
I lose myself in the depth of my heart filled with the music of the stranger’s flute.

English Translation:

Let me float, as birds do in Your empty sky,
Fill my heart in happiness, spread wings and fly.
Let me shirk off sad memories and fill every new day
Full of happiness and smiles, in child's dreamy way.

Let me throw off tears and fears away.
Let me with new hope build a fresh life each today.
Come whatever unknown may. Let me remain worry-free,
Scripting a new, different story for me.

(English version was composed first and edited after the Bengali version was composed a year later))
